The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria. www.global-standard.org
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) applies to any non-food product containing 95-100 per cent organic material. National Program for Organic Production (NPOP). Organic products are grown under a system of agriculture without using chemical fertilizers and pesticides with an environmentally and socially responsible approach.
